Log Homes have long appealed to a small group of Home Buyers in nearly every market.
Here in South King County, where properties are more conducive to the rustic aesthetic of a Log Home; breathtaking mountain views, waterfront or private acreage, I find when someone has their heart set on buying one, there’s just no swaying them.
Unfortunately, there’s also not always a great deal of inventory to show.
Last year, there were 24 Log Homes sold throughout South King County, representing just .28% of all residential single family homes sold through NWMLS.
The highest priced property sold for $1.299 million and the lowest price was $205,000. The average sales price for a log home in South King County was $532,831.
